Hospice Memorial "Tree of Lights"

The Hospice Memorial Tree of Lights is an opportunity for a meaningful gesture of holiday kindness at the same time you help a heartfelt cause. For a gift of $35, the Whatcom Hospice Foundation will remember your loved one or friend with a light on the Hospice Memorial Tree of Lights, and their name will be listed on signage in both tree locations. Names received by November 23 will be listed on our first round of printing. The signs will be updated twice in December.

A Personalized Keepsake Ornament

As a thank you for your gift, you will receive a hand-blown glass ornament to display on your own tree during the holiday season! The ornament will be personalized with the name of the person remembered, and, if you wish, the dates of their birth and death. Out of each $35 order, $10 covers our actual cost for the ornament, and $25 is your tax-deductible gift to help terminally ill patients served by Whatcom Hospice.

You are invited to pick up the ornament you purchase at the Tree Lighting Ceremony (info below) or at our Foundation Office during regular business hours in December. We are located in Suite 1-A of the 800 East Chestnut Professional Building, across Chestnut Street from the South Campus of St. Joseph Hospital. Allow 1 week for processing before pickup. QUESTIONS? Tree Lighting Ceremony 

Tentatively, the Hospice Memorial Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Wednesday, December 1 at 7 p.m. at the Hospice House Campus, 2806 Douglas Avenue in Bellingham. Keepsake ornaments (shown above) will be available for pickup at the conclusion of the ceremony for all who have placed their ornament order by November 23. In the event of icy roads, the event will be cancelled.
